Some problems of nitroxyl chemistry*
The development of chemistry of free nitroxyl radicals puts a number of new problems before the researchers. It is possible to subdivide nitroxyl radicals into two independent groups: nitroxides and iminoxyls. due to pronounced difference in their reactivity. To specify the concept of stability of a substance it is necessary to reconsider the ideas concerning the discovery of the first stable f...
متن کاملMulti-objective Solution Approaches for Employee Shift Scheduling Problems in Service Sectors (RESEARCH NOTE)
Today, workforce scheduling programs are being implemented in many production and service centers. These sectors can provide better quality products and/or services to their customers, taking into account employees’ desires and preferences in order to increase sector productivity. In this study, an employee shift scheduling problem in the service sector is discussed. In the problem, the aim is ...
متن کاملglobal results on some nonlinear partial differential equations for direct and inverse problems
Parallel Solution of Some Large-Scale Eigenvalue Problems Arising in Chemistry and Physics
We consider the numerical solution on distributed-memory parallel arrays of vector processors of some large-scale eigenvalue problems which arise in chemistry and physics. Applications from a variety of areas are discussed, including molecular dynamics, quantum chemistry, optical physics, chemical reactions, and hydrodynamic stability.
متن کاملThe Inverse Problems for Some Topological Indices in Combinatorial Chemistry
In the original paper, Goldman et al. (2000) launched the study of the inverse problems in combinatorial chemistry, which is closely related to the design of combinatorial libraries for drug discovery. Following their ideas, we investigate four other topological indices, i.e., the sigma-index, the c-index, the Z-index, and the M(1)-index, with a special emphasis on the sigma-index. Like the Wie...
